Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).

Introduction.
The white card is a pre-requisite to the NSW Owner-builder course and will take approximately 4-6 hours to complete. Under Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, anyone carrying out work or employing people on a construction site (inlcuding owner builder projects) must hold a current white card.

NSW WorkCover does not have an online white card. You can complete the QLD white card online or via correspondence with us which is Nationally recognised and valid everywhere in Australia including NSW.

The white card that you complete online with us will be issued by QLD Workcover. It is a nationally recognised card and can be used anywhere in Australia and can be used as a pre-requisite to the NSW owner-builder course. As of January 2012, WorkCover NSW will accept interstate white cards for NSW residents.

Examples of white-cards that we can accept.
If you already have a white/green card, then you do NOT have to do the course again. If you hold an interstate General Induction Card (Blue/Red/Yellow, etc), we are also able to accept this as proof.
